The
characteristics listed below are the dominant patterns of
The Grandfather Generation
Again, please remember that these are generalities that do not
fit the behaviors of any specific individuals, and nobody
holds all of these beleifs.
|
Separate from Creator/God:
People
of the Grandfather
Generation believe that humans are outside of
and separate from God -- separate from Creator --
separate
from the source of
Creation. http://www.Truth-Seeker-Truth.info
|
.
The belief in
separation from Creator/God is the biggest and most destructive
illusion of all time. The following two parallel illusions
go hand in hand with the separation-from God belief:
|
Separate from Each Other: The belief that humans are
separate from each other.
|
|
Separate from Nature: The belief that humans are separate
from Nature.
|
.
The latest
scientific evidence points
overwhelmingly to the conclusion that everything and
everyone is intimately interconnected. The belief
in separation leads to still more serious illusions:.
|
Exploitation Consciousness: The belief that the Earth is ours to
do with as we choose -- that human beings can destroy the Earth
without reaping the consequences.
|
|
Fraction Consciousness: The belief that the universe, the
Earth, and human life can be
divided into neat little pieces and each piece can be handled separately. The belief that our social,
economic, political, and environmental problems can
be dealt with separately.
|
.
The evidence
indicates that everything is intimately connected to
everything else, that everything is part of a
unified, interdependent whole, that every
action alters the the entire system.

Open ended Non-Ecology: The belief that activities are open
ended. People of the Grandfather Generation
function on the common belief that activities have
distinct beginnings and ends -- that one can sow
without reaping -- that
one can act without producing a reaction -- that one
can destroy without consequences -- that
dumps, rivers, your
neighbors yard, and out the car window are good
places to deposit trash and toxins.
|
.
The overwhelming evidence
indicates that the Earth is a closed system -- that
everything is recycled.
Activities which appear to be open ended
are actually portions of closed cycles.
The evidence clearly indicates that everything moves in spirals,
and in cycles. Human actions commonly return
to their source in one form or another. The
evidence indicates that every result is actually a cause
in the next round. Life on Earth is a closed
system. Everything affects everything
else. From the cosmic / spiritual
perspective everything is a part of a grand,
unified whole.

Dopamine Addicts: The
people who run the world are
Money& Profit Addicts .
The world is run by men
addicted to making money and addicted to
high-stakes gambling. We refer to
these men as
The Powers That Be.
They are the super-wealthy men who behind the
scenes control the corporations that spend the
money to elect the politicians who write the
laws that control anything of any significance
in the United States, England, and Europe.
They are hopelessly
addicted to making money
and addicted to high-stakes gambling.
These men dominate and control anything and
everything of any significance that occurs
anywhere on the entire planet.
Their brains have been
turned into drug factories. Their
activities of
making money and high-stakes gambling
trigger their brains to release brain
chemicals (dopamine and
others chemicals) that produce highs
similar to those induced by cocaine.
|
.
|
In
their endeavor to control the world, the Grandfather Generation considers money
and profit to be the most important factor in any
decision.
Millions of people have had their
health, their wealth, their safety,
their well-being, the well being of their families, and even their lives sacrificed
for the sake of showing a profit on the next quarterly
report.

|
Global-Level Ponzi Scheme:
The present economic system is a giant Ponzi Scheme
-- a con game in which new loans are made to pay off the debt from past loans.
If allowed to continue, a global-level economic crash in inevitable.
|
.
.
|
Gender Superiority:
The people of the Grandfather Generation
believe in gender
superiority. The belief is that men are more
important than women.
Men first. Me first. I'm more
important than you
are. In some belief systems, women are still
considered to be little more than property.
|
.
.
|
Racial Superiority:
The people of the Grandfather Generation
believe in racial
superiority. The belief is that members of
the white race are
biologically superior to all other
races.
|
.
The evidence clearly exposes
that racial superiority is
false. Differences come from culture, education,
tradition, beliefs, attitudes, et cetera.
.
|
Wars, Fighting and Violence solve problems: The people of the Grandfather
Generation believe that violence solves
problems. He who
is the best at doing violence
wins.
Those that hold the
"us against them" mentality believe that war, fighting,
and conflict are ways of resolving problems.
Here's the grandfathers generation's perspective on
sharing: "Sharing and cooperation are good only if the sharing and
cooperation clearly and serve me and my own,
short-term,
best interests.
If you don't agree with me, I'll use violence to
prove I'm right."
The mind-set of
the Grandfather
Generation is flooded with war, fighting,
conflict, and suffering and is obsessed with winning or
losing. Senator
John McCain is a classic example of this.
His entire persona is built on war, fighting,
conflict,
and suffering.
|
.
The evidence tell us
that violence does not solve problems. It makes
things much worse. Your are invited to read
two
quotes for R. Buckminster Fuller.
.
.
|
Scarcity Consciousness:
The people of the Grandfather
Generation believe in scarcity. There is not enough for everybody. Life
is a zero-sum game. If I am to have , then someone else must do
without. Survival of the
fittest. Because I have the money, I am the
fittest.
|
.
.
|
Victim Consciousness:
The people of the Grandfather
Generation believe that someone "out there"
somewhere is that cause of their problems .
|
.
.
.
|
Life Is a Zero-Sum Game:
The people of the Grandfather
Generation believe that in order for them to
have things, someone else must go without.
They believe that one person can gain at
the expense of another, that everybody else is expendable,
that short-term profits are more important than
the long-term well-being of the people or the
environment.
|
.
.
|
Do as I say, Not as I do:
In the United States,
one of the dominant philosophical beliefs of the
Grandfather
Generation is that a person can act as a
pious believer one day each week and on the other six days, behave like an atheist.
Hypocrisy
is an overwhelming element of the
Grandfather
Generation. Many will talk pious
religiosity and walk the exact
opposite.
The evidence indicates
that the dominant males of the
Grandfather
Generation practice atheism six days a
week. This indicate that
that a large portion of the those who control
the world believe that
human beings only live once on
Earth and then cease to exist. If these people
really were believers in God, why they
wouldn't be running
the world as if the atheist belief
system was the real truth?
|
.
.
|
The
God Factor:
The Christian portion of Grandfather
Generation believe that: 1)
Humans are their
physical bodies, 2) Every human was
magically created
by God at
conception, 3) Humans live only
once on Earth and then go somewhere else
forever.
The ego-atheist portion of the
Grandfather
Generation are ego-centric, callous, exploiters
of anything and everything, anyone and
everyone. In their minds, you and
I are expendable servants to be used and then
discarded. Other life forms are theirs to
exploit. The Earth, itself, is a
"one life pony." Self interest is their
only interest.
When you
examine the what, to the rest of us,
seems like insanity in the policies of the
Republican party, you'll find that those
policies make perfect sense to a person who
believes the Christian fairytale called
The Rapture.
|
.
.
|
Lies and Deception: Members of the
Grandfather
Generation control the main concentrations of power in
the entire world.
Lies of omission
are one of their major tools of control. They even hire people
to tell distorted stories that leave out critical
pieces
of the truth. They are called "spin
doctors" or "advertisers."
|
.
.
|
Religious Extremism:
People in the Grandfather
Generation are very likely to adamantly embrace one of two
opposite beliefs. One is the blind
religious adherence to whatever religion their parents
taught them. It doesn't matter what the religion
is, it's dominant belief is "One way my
way." "Our way is the
only way." Their personas is built on a very conservative, Grandfather
Generation, religious philosophy that adamantly
believes in numerous un-provable religious stories
-- stories such as
God's Conception Magic
Act and
The Rapture.
The
second "un-provable certainty" is the
religious belief called atheism. Atheists
have their own golden rule -- "He who owns the
gold rules."
|
.
.
|
Rigid Duality:
A simple duality rules the
lives of those in the Grandfather Generation
. It's black or
it's white. It's us against
them. If you are not with us, you are against
us. Winners and losers. Guilty or
innocent. Red states or blue
states. The grandfather generation denies
the existence of the subtleties between polar
opposites.
|
.
.
|
"I Don't Know" is not as
Option:
People of the Grandfather
Generation cannot admit that they don't know
the truth
about God. Whatever they believe to be the truth
is for them the absolute and only truth.
The people of the Grandfather Generation
would rather spend gargantuan efforts to
defend the lie rather than admit to being
wrong. The Roman Catholic
Church hiding child
molesters is a demonstrates this. Here's
anoher example:
What Is Life?

|
One Way My Way:
People
of the Grandfather
Generation believe that their version of the truth is correct
version, the only true version, and that everyone else is wrong.
Those in the Grandfather
Generation believe that their way is normal,
that everyone else is strange. This
is called ethnocentrism.
With regard to
religious beliefs, those in the Grandfather Generation
pretty much divide themselves into two divergent groups
with only a small minority in between. One faction
believes that what their parents taught them must be
true.
These are the mindless true believers in this or
that religion. These people's lives are run by
dozens of un-provable stories -- stories such God is an
angry, fickle, vindictive, superhuman being who lives in
the sky above the clouds of planet Earth -- stories such as
God's
Instantaneous, Supernatural, Transcendental, Conception Magic
Act and The Rapture .
At the other end of
this belief pattern are those who reject organized religion as "the opiate
of the masses." They deny the existence
of a Creator. They believe that this one
life here on Earth is all there is to human
existence. They may actually participate in a
religion but they do so for reasons other than to connect to
God. Also many are hypocrites who profess to be religious but
act as if atheism were the true assumption.
|
.
The evidence indicates
that we are all normal, and at the same time, we are all
strange. As the old saying goes, "There
is nothing unique about being unique."
.Normalcy
Bias
Normalcy Bias ...
|
Truth Bias:
Truth Bias is a term used to
describe a mental state of being in which a person
holds strong and fast to a belief
or to a set of beliefs
that have little or no evidence to support them, or
that
have significant or even
overwhelming evidence
against them.
The other side of Truth
Bias is to deny something that has
significant or even overwhelming evidence to
support it.
Because a person's behavior is
a function of his (or her) beliefs and because
beliefs dominate verbal expressions and
physical actions, con artists and churches,
governments, and other organizations commonly
teach beliefs designed to elicit support for
themselves.
Truth Bias is quite similar to
Normalcy Bias.
Normalcy bias is a belief held
in spite of evidence
to the contrary, that
the way things are
is the way they
will continue to be.
Normalcy Bias is denying potential
problems and failing to prepare for them.
As a result, when the
predictable problem or disaster shows up,
those applying
Normalcy Bias to a situation will
deny their
responsibility for lack of preparation
and see themselves as
innocent victims of
outside forces that damaged or destroyed their
lives.
In an emergency people with
Normalcy Bias will deny what's happening
and simply do nothing.
Set up a truth bias measuring
system and use it to measure political
statements.
Normalcy Bias is closely
related to
victim consciousness.
The people of the Grandfather Generation
will not accept anything new until it "bits them in the butt."
The deadly serious problem of Global Warming is an
example of
this stuck-in-a-rut, Normalcy-Bias mentality. In spite of the
now-overwhelming evidence, the members of the Grandfather
Generation who are in leadership positions
(October
2011) still deny its existence, poo poo it,
and/or fight the
required changes.
|
.
.
|
Short-term Thinking:
The focus of those in the Grandfather
Generation is primarily on the short term
-- the
next quarterly report -- "not on my
watch" -- deficit financing -- producing millions
tons of nuclear waste that has a half life of 50,000 years --
environmental destruction -- "let the next administration
handle it."
|
.
.
|
I Already Know the Truth: The vast majority of these people already have all the
answers. They're stuck in their own belief systems.
They refuse to listen to anybody who does not wear thousand-dollar
suits. Speaking of suits, the dominant males get to change
the color of the phallic symbol that they wear around their necks, (the
necktie) but other than that minor change, every one of them wears the same
uniform -- the business suit -- the higher the rank, the more expensive the
suit.
|
.
Most of those in the Grandfather
Generation reject the views of a
relatively small minority of their generation that acknowledges
Universal
Spirituality. These who acknowledge Universal
Spirituality believe that an infinite, unknown, consciousness is
the source of the universe.
When
one examines the above illusions, it becomes obvious why the
world is in such critical condition.
