. Each human being has a set of beliefs that dominates his or her life.

Who and what are you? Do you let your skin color define who you are? Do you let you ethnic heritage define who you are? Do you let your childhood religious training define who you are? Do you let you gender define who you are? Do you let you sexual preference define who you are? You are who you believe you are. You get to choose the level of importance of your skin color, your ethnic heritage, your religious training, your gender, and your sexual preferences. Are you in charge of your life? Or are you living as a victim of your skin color, your ethnic heritage, your religious training, your gender, or your sexual preferences. When learning who and what we are, most humans are taught from the bottom up, from the smallest to the largest. First we are taught gender identity, skin color, religion and ethnicity tend to overlap and all are clearly implanted in one's identity well before reaching the age of reason (about age seven). Soon thereafter, sexual identity takes its role in co-defining who and what we are. We also have dozens of derogatory labels, and if you've never heard yourself being call one of them, you haven't been listening. Here's a few racial and cultural words you may have heard before: kikes, niggers, honkys, japs, chinks, gooks, dagos, waps, spicks, , spics, and greasers Then there's the common name calling put downs , some of which have, on occasion, come wafting our way. Putdowns like, faggot, retard, lame-brained, hillbilly, fattie, geek, slime ball, idiot, jerk, pinhead, wimp, and fool. And there's the five categories of what we call swearwords Anatomical, such as cunt, asshole, prick, and ass wipe. Sexual, such as mother fucker, fuck you, and cock sucker Excretory, such as shithead, fart, shit-for-brains, and vomit-eater, Ancestral, such as bastard, bitch, and ------- Religious, such as God damn it, holy shit, and ------- and the list goes on. **mc2 With such a comprehensive mix of ethnic labels, personal putdowns, and swear words, it doesn't matter what labels you get hit with, there's someone out there who will gladly tell you how bad or evil or wrong you are just for being yourself.
